COEX 3D PLA is made in Green Bay, Wisconsin from virgin NatureWorks Ingeo resin. It comes in three lines:
- Standard PLA (Ingeo 4043D): our everyday PLA, and in our view a match for most brands' PLA+
- PLA Prime (Ingeo 3D850): prints much like Standard PLA, but once annealed (heat-treated after printing) it's significantly stronger than standard PLA
- PLA+Silk: a glossy, silk-sheen finish
Every spool is held to ±0.03mm (1.75mm) or ±0.06mm (2.85mm) and vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
