Flame Retardant Black ABS

Flame Retardant ABS is made from a UL94 V-0 rated ABS base resin, for parts that need to self-extinguish, such as electrical enclosures and housings near heat sources.

UL94 flame rating of the base resin

These are the UL94 ratings of the base resin used to make COEX 3D Flame Retardant ABS filament. They are not ratings of a finished printed part. How a printed part performs depends on its geometry, wall thickness and print settings, so test parts for your application. The UL yellow card is available on request.

Ventilation is required

• Use direct ventilation. Vent outdoors, or through HEPA and carbon filtration.
• Never let Flame Retardant ABS cool in the nozzle. Remove it while the nozzle is still hot, then purge with standard ABS.
