from 113 reviewsNice flowing & nice color. No nozzle plugging ever with my COEX purchases as I have had with some others.
Excellent filament and match Green Bay’s colors perfectly! Printed on Bambu X1 with zero adjustments.
I just printed a project using this filament for the first time. This is the best looking filament I ever used! It almost has a wet look to it. I did have a little trouble getting it going. The first layer was giving me trouble with adhesion to the bed. Not sure if the bed shifted on me or the filament likes things a little tighter but once I raised the bed a bit, it grabbed ahold and held for the print duration.
I don't know how the strength of this filament will shape up, but strictly on looks this is a fantastic choice. I've attached a picture but it really looks alot better in person. I'm not a photographer...
I haven't actually used any of this spool but I fully expect it to be the same high quality I've always gotten in the past.
Print exterior walls slow, and just a bit hotter. Great shine
Printed perfectly on my K1. PLA Prime has great mechanical properties that fulfill multiple functional and non-functional purposes. I have found PLA Prime to be superior to Polymaker's PLA Pro in strength even without annealing. Prints always come out clean and looking great due to the unique colors COEX offers.
COEX offers an unparalleled experience that is worth the extra couple of bucks over buying cheaper filament. When you order from COEX you are starting a partnership with a company that is invested in their work. They are very knowledgable and always willing to assist you in getting the best quality prints you can.
Love the color and printed well. Slight stringing but may be printer settings.
love the color!
I made a hummingbird feeder with the Glacier Blue and it looks great. The filament did well in the printer and I really like how it turned out.
Love Coex's ASA filament. Prints easier than PETG and is tough as nails!
COEX is the only filament we use for our products. Gunmetal Gray is a great mix between Stone and Legion, without the glitter of Metallic Gunmetal.
I do a lot of cosplay and prototypes where the color doesn't matter, so I've switched to this filament because it's a bit more affordable than the solid colors. (I print A LOT of big stuff)
I originally thought this mystery stuff was a somewhat gimmicky, but it is actually really neat because you will get to see all the colors that you haven't been able to experience or haven't been able to buy yet. Think of it as a sample roll of two colors in each box. Some of them are actually quite eye-popping.
A lot of the early rolls were a mixture of army green or grey, but lately I get a good blend of neons and bright colors.... And the color transition is usually a very visible and defined purge section in the middle, so if you plan your prints right, you can ACTUALLY have two prints with their own solid color/material and no transition.
The last roll I used was the new matte black with a gloss black transition and was able to see what the new matte black material looks like on a print without ever buying a roll or getting a sample, so thumbs up to that.
As always filament prints great on my printers out of the box, but this does suck up the water especially during the summers in the Midwest, so make sure to dry before using.
I have this scarlet red in both PLA and PETG and I like how consistent in color it is across spools, and how the quality remains the same throughout.
Did green and gold horns for football season! Perfect color match
Have a big multi day print project using black and white. I have used COEX PLA since the early days of my 3D printing hobby. (It's made in the US). Printed 38 pieces using the a 5lb spool. Came out great!
