Let customers speak for us
from 120 reviewsI have printed 10-11 kg of this specific filament and color. As I have mentioned in other reviews, this is maybe the best ASA I have ever printed, but this specific color is gorgeous. The metallic effect really comes out in the sun and everyone who sees my prints that use it comment on the color.
At this point, I have printed maybe close to 15 kg of ASA Prime in several colors. I am a HUGE fan of this material. It is some of the nicest ASA I have ever printed. With that said, I am not a huge fan of this specific red color. It is somewhat pale with maybe a hint of orange. I think it could more accurately be called "salmon" red (or maybe their favorite salsa is just different than the stuff I normally buy). For reference, the attached picture shows a part printed with this material sitting on a storage box lid that is more of a true red. I still have to give it 5 stars because, like I said, this filament is awesome and maybe someone else wants this kind of red.
Beautiful, deep and unique color. The translucency gives an interesting effect where thinner details and areas allow more light to pass through, changing the hue and saturation of the color. The prints look amazing because of the added depth. It looks great on both functional and aesthetic objects. For large objects you can get very interesting effects using a small number of walls and a beautiful infill pattern - for example honeycomb. The X1C prints this filament like butter using the standard profile.
Tried the regular PLA version as well - and the color is stable between versions. Prime version can be stronger if you use annealing.
The support from Coex team is simply superb, just top notch. All questions I had were resolved instantly and to my complete satisfaction. Definitely became a regular customer here. A big plus for me is that all the production and the COEX team is here in the USA.

I am happy to recommend this filament to anyone wanting quality.
I've used the filament on a pool cover clip. The material was easy to print and it held up all summer. I am satisfied that the materials is living up to the hype.
This material print flawlessly out of a X1C AMS, however, it does need to respooled onto other spools. The COEX spools are a bit too large for the AMS to handle properly. I tried several prints with liners on the spool only to hand rewind and jams. Once respooled, it printed like a dream! 100% recommend. If you are using only one color, no need to respool, just run it externally.
Nice flowing & nice color. No nozzle plugging ever with my COEX purchases as I have had with some others.
Excellent filament and match Green Bay’s colors perfectly! Printed on Bambu X1 with zero adjustments.
I just printed a project using this filament for the first time. This is the best looking filament I ever used! It almost has a wet look to it. I did have a little trouble getting it going. The first layer was giving me trouble with adhesion to the bed. Not sure if the bed shifted on me or the filament likes things a little tighter but once I raised the bed a bit, it grabbed ahold and held for the print duration.
I don't know how the strength of this filament will shape up, but strictly on looks this is a fantastic choice. I've attached a picture but it really looks alot better in person. I'm not a photographer...
I haven't actually used any of this spool but I fully expect it to be the same high quality I've always gotten in the past.
Print exterior walls slow, and just a bit hotter. Great shine
Printed perfectly on my K1. PLA Prime has great mechanical properties that fulfill multiple functional and non-functional purposes. I have found PLA Prime to be superior to Polymaker's PLA Pro in strength even without annealing. Prints always come out clean and looking great due to the unique colors COEX offers.
COEX offers an unparalleled experience that is worth the extra couple of bucks over buying cheaper filament. When you order from COEX you are starting a partnership with a company that is invested in their work. They are very knowledgable and always willing to assist you in getting the best quality prints you can.
Love the color and printed well. Slight stringing but may be printer settings.
love the color!
